Night with Shakespeare
Finally on Monday 21.8.06 I met with my amiga Esther, who´s now back from her holidays from Spain. We had an Indian around her neigborhood in Bayswater with her cousin, Maite, who now in turn is here for a weeks holiday. Lot of catching up to do :)
On Wednesday 23.8.06 I worked all day at home, it seems to be picking up finally and it´s getting busier. In the evening I continued with my cultural spree; I had a ticket to a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre, http://www.shakespeares-globe.org/navigation/frameset.htm. It´s been built as a replicate of the original outdoor theatre where Shakespeare´s plays were originally played with men-only cast. This time there were actresses as well, which was bit of a let-down really. I saw the Comedy of Errors and must admit that it was really funny, eventhough I understood maybe half of it. The actors were really good and there was a good interaction with the audience. At some point couple of the actors lost it as someone from the audience shouted something unexpected (or it was a Spanish shouting "Spain" when the servant was listing the countries you could find in this huge lady that was chasing her... that figures :) Here are some pics:
