French night out
Back in London - trying to shake off the jetlag... hard but getting there.
Got back to work on Thursday (18.1.07) and was that tired by the end of the day, that asked to sleep over at the Powneys´ for the night (that´s Daves, my brother-in-law´s parents who happen to live close to the office). I was just too tired to drive. And it was really nice to see them and finally given them my christmas presents :)
On Friday I dropped off my precious RAW back to Mika´s garage as it had been standing at Powneys since christmas when my sister Mari and her family had been using it while in England. And once more, in the afternoon, I sorted out another parking permit... I´ve lost account and don´t know how many of these I´ve had to apply since last June... it´s becoming a habit by now :)
On Saturday, after waking up early, still, in the morning and having watch a movie (Being John Malkovitz - weird but interesting) I took one of my favourite walks accross London and ended up meeting with Esther in her new place (she moved just before christmas close to London Bridge). We had a nice tapas luncn in a really good and authentic Spahish restaurant (can´t believe that don´t have the name!).
In the evening, Esther and her new flatmates had organised a night out in a new and apparently cool club, The Favola Chic, that is especially popular among the French here. The service and management of the place was appaling but the DJ and music were wild - well mixed samba to rock. Excellent music! Nice night out, meeting new people (eventhough you could not talk a lot as it was really loud). It was almost absurd as we we having a very late dinner practically in the middle of people dancing and the music pumping.... again weird but fun! Thanks girls for organising this!
Feeding my best friend Esther
Big kiss to all,
Anne
